Gaurav Vyas (Lead Strategy-Director’s office/AVP) is leading Project Management Office (PMO) for Digitization Initiatives for RIL O2C business. He is seasoned manufacturing professional with hands-on experience on working in various capacities in Management consulting, Integrated oil companies, Oil & Gas Downstream and Engineering design organizations. Gaurav is an experienced practitioner in creating business value through the intersection of technology, improvement in processes and change implementation at scale.
Gaurav is an expert in Strategy, Organizational and Digital transformation with deep knowledge in oil & gas downstream domain, He has work on several transformation projects focussed on Downstream operations improvement and digitization, tackling the decarbonization challenge / navigating the energy transition and digital transformation for large integrated Oil & Gas companies in Asia.
Prior to Reliance, Gaurav has worked with McKinsey, Hindustan Petroleum (HPCL) & Engineers India Limited (EIL). At McKinsey he has led large transformation programs for energy & chemical clients in Asia and Middle East, with a focus on operations transformation, strategy, cost optimization and adoption of digital technologies. At HPCL he has worked in Corporate Strategy, Central Engineering, Energy Conservation and Operations Excellence, while with EIL he has worked on concept to commissioning on various oil & gas projects both upstream and downstream. Gaurav has expertise in various capacities spanning across Refinery and Petchem Operations, Digital Transformation, Performance improvement, due diligence, supply chain optimization, Operations excellence, Feasibility reports, Green and Revamp project delivery, & digital & advanced analytics.
