Saad Arif is the Director, Plant Sales & Strategic Projects at International Process Plants (IPP), a global leader in the acquisition, relocation, and redeployment of process manufacturing assets.

With a background in Chemical Engineering from NED University of Engineering & Technology, Karachi. Saad brings over a decade of experience across petrochemicals, refining, and fertilizers, combining technical expertise with commercial leadership.

At IPP, he leads global business development, strategic partnerships and M&A, driving the company’s expansion into the Middle East, Pakistan, Turkey, Central Asia, and ASEAN. Working closely with IPP’s founding team, Saad spearheads initiatives that transform idle industrial assets into new growth opportunities for global operators.

Before joining IPP, he worked with Engro Corporation, advancing from Engineering to Strategy and New Ventures. Saad is passionate about circular industrialization, leading efforts that enable faster and cost-efficient, industrial capacity worldwide.

Today, his leadership continues to advance IPP’s mission: transforming industrial change into opportunity by repurposing world-class manufacturing assets to deliver faster capacity, lower CAPEX, and reduced carbon footprints for the global downstream and chemical industries.

At the Asian Downstream Summit, he invites collaboration and dialogue on how asset redeployment can reshape industrial growth — faster, cheaper, and greener.
